FRANCISCAN INSTITUTE OF SPIRITUALITY IN INDIA (FISI), SHANTHI SADHANA is an animation and study center in Franciscan Spirituality. Its aims at propagating the spirit and charism of St. Francis of Assisi to all the Franciscans who visit this Institute and participate in spiritual and academic programs. Its goal is to recapture the Spirit of St. Francis of Assisi in our times and in our context. 

For this purpose FISI welcomes all Franciscans from India and abroad, who wish to relish the springs of Franciscan Charism and renew their life in today’s world. Through study, research, prayer, integration and interiorization, it is possible for a Franciscan Religious to grow to the fullness of Christ Crucified and “fill the earth with the Gospel of Christ”.

FISI belongs to all Franciscans in India and abroad and every Franciscan has the privilege and the opportunity to make use of the facilities available in the Institute and to enjoy the suave atmosphere of the wonderful campus maintained so assiduously.
